So, Courtney was leaving my house… we stood outside talking… this is the end of the conversation… in script form.

EXT. CHRIS’S HOUSE - DAY

We find Chris and Courtney in mid-conversation.

COURTNEY
I have to be somewhere soon so, I
guess I should go.

CHRIS
Yeah, that’s a good idea.

Courtney takes a step forward and hugs Chris. Mid-embrace Chris whispers into her ear.

CHRIS
I’m going to make the end of this
conversation like an indie film.

COURTNEY
What?

CHRIS
Shhhhh… 

Courtney slowly lets go. Confused, she turns and starts to walk towards her car.

CHRIS
Hey Courtney-

Courtney stops and turns around.

CHRIS (CONT.)
Happy Thanksgiving.

Courtney smiles.

COURTNEY
Happy Thanksgiving Chris.

Chris returns the smile. Courtney walks to her car and gets in. Chris watches as the car drives down the street.
